Who wants to reduce weight and fat?
Who wants to reduce weight and fat?
One trillion people in the world. That's a lot of mouths to feed, and weight to shift. So what are the tools we can use? Many of them are available online, but most importantly, some exist right at our fingertips:
-Exercise:
cardio exercises like running or biking can increase your metabolism; bodyweight exercises like push-ups and pull-ups can build muscle mass that burns stored fat as fuel.
-Diet:
carbs are your primary source of energy; eat about 60% of your calories in the form of carbs, with the remaining 40% made up of protine and healthy loose fats. The exact percentages depend on several variables, but this general formula works well in most people.
-Drink water:
Water is essential to life and builds muscle mass as well as being a way to burn fat.
-Get enough sleep:
Sleep deprivation can activate the brain's reward centers, which can make you want to eat more food.
-Workout:
Find a workout that is suitable for your lifestyle; in general, cardio exercises are more effective than resistance exercises – but only if you're doing it right. And remember to take proper care of your joints.
-Be consistent:
If you want to lose weight, you need to discipline yourself and learn how to eat in a way that won't make you gain it back.
-Get a workout buddy:
Weight loss is difficult by yourself, but it becomes even harder when you have someone else's opinion discouraging your actions or encouraging you to stop.
-Get back into shape:
A fitness routine is essential for losing weight and keeping it off.
